F.Y.I.

     MY ASHEVILLE HOME was built in 2012.  The living area is 2,000 sq ft. all on one level.  There are 3 steps to enter the home.

     The Community has 22 custom built homes.  All roads are private.  The house sits on a 1.2 acre landscaped lot at an elevation of 2,500 ft.  

     The East facing back deck provides uninterrupted long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Sunset Mountain where the famous Grove Park Inn resides.

     The house faces West.  Sunsets provide beautiful sky views through the kitchen window and front covered porch/entry. 

     If you are fond of sunrises you can have your coffee and enjoy a spectacular sunrise without leaving your bedroom, living room or deck.  The living room, back deck, master bedroom and side deck all offer an uninterrupted view of the sun rise as it emerges from behind the mountains. 
 
    This  same view provides opportunities to experience the moon rise and to star  gaze.  

     The Mountains, the near by French Broad River and the Weather,  combine to produce Sky Views that  constantly change.  The view is like a canvas that comes alive. 
 
     Asheville has a  vibrant downtown area.   A strait shot down Riverside Drive onto Broadway and you are in the middle of downtown Asheville with all of it's great shopping, restaurants, art galleries, theaters & breweries. 
  
    The French Broad River runs through Asheville and is used for tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking and social gatherings.

     River access for these activities is less than 10 minutes away at the Woodfin River Park which offers a trail for walking along the river and picnic areas as well as river access.

     The Botanical Gardens are  also 10 minutes away in the direction of down town.  The gardens are free and offer trails under huge stately trees.  The creek is clean and children enjoy creek play in the summer. 

     Tailgate markets are popular in Asheville and UNC Ashville is host to one of the best.  During season, the market offers  organic and locally grown food products straight from the farm.  Also available are home baked goods, crafts and flowers.
